The following is mandated by NAR. The term Realtor and the Realtor logo are Federal trademarks taken out by the National Association of Realtors and you cannot be called a Realtor or use the Realtor Logo until the Code of Ethics, the Fair Housing courses and New Member Orientation is completed and is entered into the National database. It is stated in the bylaws that failure to satisfy this requirement within 30 days of the date of application could result in termination of your provisional membership.
